Relatives named without a specific act

“My parents are named for nothing.”

Can relatives named in a 498A case with no specific act get it quashed?

In short. A relative named with no specific act attributed to them can ask the High Court to cancel the case. Cancelling a case at the start, because it is legally hollow, is called quashing. The application should say what each person is alleged to have actually done, and show that nothing is alleged against them.

General information, not advice on your case. Please speak to your own lawyer, or to your District Legal Services Authority, about your case.
